Tour AD DI - Deep Impact

The Tour AD DI - Deep Impact is designed to provide golfers with more power and stability in their golf shaft.  Designed and manufactured exclusively at the Graphite Design factory headquarters in Japan, the Tour AD DI Orange and Black coloured options received a recent cosmetic update.

Available in two colour schemes Orange with White bands and Green rings and a second colour option of Black with White bands and Silver rings.  

The Tour AD DI, like the other high performance Tour AD wood shafts, utilises premium aerospace quality carbon fibre materials and are available in 50g, 60g, 70g, 80g and 90g.

The Tour AD DI is the first shaft design that was integrated with Toray Company’s original NANOALLOY material technology in the tip section of the shaft.   This material technology has now come to be known as DI Technology.  This unique material technology promotes additionally shaft stability without the loss of feel and allows the player to create greater club head speed resulting in greater ball speed while still providing exceptional feel and control.

The Tour AD DI utilises premium aerospace quality 50 tonne carbon fibre materials to provide the best performing shaft available.  The softer mid section bend profile of the Tour AD DI allows the player to load the shaft properly, yet it maintains a firm enough tip section through impact promoting a high launch and low spin ball flight condition.  The result, the Tour AD DI delivers players to the next level in shaft performance and will create a Deep Impact on your game.

DI Technology

Graphite Design’s proprietary DI Technology is based on Toray Companies NANOALLOY carbon fibre material technology.  This advanced, high tech material was developed with the latest in nano technology to provide Graphite Design premium shafts with additional vibration dampening and precise stability to the shaft structure.

DI Technology can be found in the Tour AD DI, BB, DJ, GT, MT and MJ wood shafts as well as the YS Nano Reloaded wood and hybrid shafts.  DI Technology will deliver perfect Accuracy and pure Distance (AD) for golfers of all skill levels.

MSI Technology

Material Stiffness Integration - MSI, is the main design concept by which Graphite Design develops golf shafts.  Composite materials consist of two main components, graphite fibre and resin. 

The stiffness of each fibre has an impact on how much vibration is transmitted up the shaft affecting the feel of the shaft.  The resin acts more like a sponge absorbing the vibrations, creating exquisite feel.

R2 Senior (A) - 71-85 MPH.  R1 Regular (R) - 86-95 MPH.  S Stiff (S) - 96-105 MPH.  X Extra Stiff (X) - 105+ MPH.  TX Tour Extra Stiff (TX) - 110+ MPH.
